Learner & Entry Requirements:
No previous experience required. Open to all levels of physical ability and age.
General & First Session:
Loose, comfortable clothing. Please do not purchase any items specifically for the course until after the first class. KAE is unable to offer refunds for any materials, equipment or books if the course is subsequently closed.
Course Aim & Objective:
To introduce the therapeutic exercises of Tai Chi, improve your health, flexibility and ability to relax.
You should be able to complete a short Tai Chi form and develop a regular Tai Chi practice of your own, suited to your ability.
Assessment:
Encouragement to practise what you have been taught at each lesson. Monitored weekly.
Course Syllabus:
The Sun Style Tai Chi Mini form and various Chi Kung (breathing exercises) that support this practice. Encouragement to practice for 10-15 minutes as a form of gentle exercise and to monitor your own improvement. Encouragement to take part in any weekend workshops or visits to local beauty spots for practising with learners from other similar classes.
