Description

This course is run according to EDEXCEL syllabus. We will cover the required topics and vocabulary. We aim to develop learners understanding of Arabic vocabulary and structure. Learners finish the course with a good knowledge of spoken and written Arabic within the required topics. Learners will be expected to recognise and use Arabic in a variety of contexts and in relation to the following general topic areas.

  • Youth culture and concerns
  • Lifestyle: Health & Fitness
  • The world around us: travel, tourism, environmental issues
  • Education and employment

Student & Entry Requirements:

At least attended Arabic GCSE course in the last 2 years

Course Aim

To help learner develop spoken and written skills to EDEXCEL standards

Course Aim & Objective:

Develop the ability to listen and understand spoken Arabic in a range of contexts and a variety of styles. Learners will be able to read and respond to different types of written language.

Assessment:

EDEXCEL Exam (2 hours 45 minute paper) All students will be assessed by Edexcel
