Ideal for the football enthusiast who is keen to participate in
their favourite sport whilst studying at a greater depth, the aim
of this course is to develop your performance skills while giving
you a sound knowledge of sport and exercise science.
This one year 90 credit diploma covers a broad curriculum, giving a
wider understanding of the industry and preparing you for a future
career in football and/or sport. This course is the equivalent to
one A Level plus an AS Level.

In partnership with Thomas Hardye Schools, we are also offering students on the Extended Diploma course the option to study an AS level in Physical Education 1 day a week at Thomas Hardy School.
Entry Requirements
Minimum of four GCSEs Grades A* to C, including English and Maths. Functional Skills at Level 2. First Diploma at merit level.
Next Steps/Employment
Employment in the football and sports coaching or health and fitness industries. It could also allow you entry to an Apprenticeship programme or university degree in Football Studies.
