Environmental Conservation Intermediate Apprenticeship

If you are working, or carrying out voluntary work in the countryside and want to gain a national qualification, this is an ideal choice. Course areas include habitat management, fencing, hedgelaying, dry stone walling, countryside law, sustainability and countryside access.

C&G Level 2 Diploma in Work-based Environmental Conservation (QCF)

Course Content

Your knowledge and understanding will be assessed in the classroom and your practical skills, developed at College, will be assessed in the workplace. All students will need a work placement in a countryside job for this qualification.

Entry Requirements

Minimum age 16 years. Interest and enthusiasm. Tetanus protection is recommended. Working role or work placement for at least two days per week for duration of course.

The National Apprenticeship Service will pay the costs of your training depending on your age.
