Hairdressing, Beauty & Holistic Therapy

All the following course fees are inclusive of registration, assessment documentation and exam fees. Additional costs will be required to purchase uniforms, course books etc.

Entry requirement for the Hairdressing NVQ2 - Year 1 and Year 2 is full-time salon employment as a Trainee Hairdresser.

Entry requirement for the Level 2 Barbering - must be currently working towards Level 2 in Ladies Hairdressing with some cutting experience. Contact Cindy Iveagh on 648272 to arrange an interview.

Entry requirement for the Hairdressing NVQ3 is an NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing qualification and full-time salon employment.

Entry requirement for Award in Nail Technology is an NVQ Level 2 Manicure Unit.

Entry requirement for Massage & Anatomy is good basic english and access to a computer with internet to complete the anatomy online is required. This is a Level 3 Qualification.

Entry requirement for Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Therapy and Reflexology courses are Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Massage Qualifications.

The courses are practically based with the necessary theory of underpinning knowledge to ensure complete understanding of all aspects of Hairdressing. You will have to learn basic rules of chemistry, physics, anatomy, biology, physiology and mathematics.
