What is the Course About?
Duration - 2 Years
In the first year you will work towards the internationally
recognised V.T.C.T. NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy qualification
gaining skills in all practical treatments using the latest skin
care techniques. You will also learn the relevant knowledge of
health and safety, anatomy, physiology and pathology.
In the second year you will build on the high level of skills
achieved in the Level 2 to progress to the internationally
recognised VTCT NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy where you will be
introduced to holistic therapies and learn microdermabrasion and
non surgical face list techniques.

Promoting products and services to clients
Develop own effectiveness at work
Provide facial skin care
Provide make-up services
Enhance the appearance of eyelashes and eyebrows
Carry out waxing services
Provide manicure and pedicure services
Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology.
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy (Year 2):
Safely control work operations
Contribute to planning and implementation of promotional
activities
Provide body electrical treatments
Provide facial electrical treatments
Provide body massage treatments
Provide electrical epilation treatments
Provide Indian head massage
Massage using pre blended aromatherapy oils
