Who is this course for? This course is designed for those who wish to seek a professional career in Beauty Therapy What qualifications or experience do I need ? Applicants must have: Basic skills literacy Level 1and numeracy Level 1 GCSEs in Maths, English and Science grades A-D preferred A suitable reference What will I study ? This course will cover the following topics: Associated theory Anatomy and physiology Manicure and pedicure Facial Therapy Make Up Techniques Depilatory waxing Lash and brow treatments How will I be assessed ? Assessments will be through: Oral assessment Assignments Written assessments Practical assessments What qualifications could I achieve ? On successful completion of this course, you will achieve a Beauty Therapy Diploma Level 2 What can the course lead to ? Students who successfuly complete this course may choose to further their studying by proceeding with Level 3 Beauty Therapy, Media Make Up or Spa Therapy. How do I join the course ? Applicants will need to complete an enrolment form, then attend an interview. Students will complete a written, dexterity and oral test at interview.
