System leadership is a new and emerging form of leadership in the UK and internationally. The module will cover a wide range of issues, including the theories and practice of school improvement and school leadership. Building on these foundations, the module then explores system leadership as a means to respond to key contemporary educational challenges, including why and how headteachers take on roles that work for the success of other schools as well as their own.
