Masters Level Module


It is a prerequisite that participants have completed modules 1 and 2 or equivalent. This module requires planning and teaching a pupil/s with literacy difficulties for 30 hours. Students need to teach a pupil 1:1 for minimum of 12 hours and maximum of 18 hours with a small group. 3 hours needs to be filmed and will be observed and feedback given from an AMBDA qualified tutor.

By the end of the module participants should be able to critically reflect on current intervention studies reported in the literature and their application to own educational setting and through developing self-reflection, evaluate and modify own teaching practice. On succes…

On successful completion of the three Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia) modules participants will have achieved Associate Membership of the British Dyslexic Association (AMBDA) and will be qualified as practising assessors and specialist teachers of children with SpLD (dyslexia).
