Students may take the programme independently (private self-study), or through a college which has been accredited by ABE to deliver the Level 7 Diploma in Business Management.

Programme structure
The Level 7 Diploma in Business Management is comprised of five units. As can be seen below, only Strategic Management and Planning is assessed by examination, which is externally marked by ABE. The other four units are each assessed by a written assignment of approximately 3,500 words, which is internally marked by your college or by Management Approaches and moderated by ABE.
Please note: it can take up to two months between receipt of a college or Management Approaches-marked assignment at ABE and the issue of a final moderated result.
Both the examination and assignments are marked out of 100 and carry equal weighting. In order to be awarded a Level 7 Diploma, you must achieve a pass mark of 40% or above in all five units.
