What does the course include?

This course is a comprehensive foundation course covering all aspects of Fashion. The course is aimed at students with a great enthusiasm for Fashion and some previous experience in Fashion or Art and Design Subjects.
The Course consists of 18 units covering subjects such as:
- Fashion Design
- Pattern Cutting
- Fashion Illustration
- Drawing Development
- Historical & Contextual Understanding
- Garment Construction
- Textile Design
- Fashion Marketing

What do I need to get on this course?
Any of the following:
- 5 GCSE passes at A-C grades
- Equivalent Level 2 programme at grade Merit or Distinction
You are also required to bring in a portfolio of Art work , Textiles or fashion related subjects for your interview day.
Where does it lead?
This course will give you the necessary skills to progress into employment or higher education, such a foundation degree or BA Degree in Fashion or related subjects.
There is a 12% increase in fashion related jobs forecast in Greenwich between 2012 and 2017.
