    Entry Requirements

    Candidates must be at least 16 years of age and hold GCSE English (and preferably maths) at grade D or above.

    Mature candidates with experience in the role or those holding alternative qualifications will also be considered for the qualification. All candidates will be interviewed and undertake an initial diagnostic assessment as part of the interview process prior to being accepted on the course.

Assessment Method

There are no examinations but candidates will need to successfully complete a written assignment for both units

CACHE Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools - Level 3 Foundation Degree in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Foundation Degree in Children, Families and community Health

No person can be admitted to a childcare course if he/she are rendered unsuitable by any criminal conviction (subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974). Funding towards the cost of the course may be available, ask the tutor for details.
