Suitable For

Transitions Xtra is designed to meet the needs of those who require additional support to make a successful transition from school to further education courses, and between further education and employment. There is, where necessary, close collaboration between your previous school and/or College to ensure a successful transition.

Course Content

You will follow individual programmes of work as part of the City & Guilds NPTC Diploma Skills for Working Life (Entry Level 1 - 3) and Basic Skills certificates in both Literacy and Numeracy (these will be at different levels according to your ability, ranging from Entry Level 1 to Key Skills Level 2).

Please contact us if you want to visit, plan transition or have a taster session. Julie Doughty, the course leader, is very experienced in supporting transition into and through college and has specialist qualification in supporting learners with ASD.
