- Work related experience in the horse sector. As well as these subjects you will be required to continue to study English, maths or IT as part of your course.
Assessment Method
Projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. Assignments include written work, practical experience, presentations and observations
Progression
Students can progress to the BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma and upon successful completion of this will progress to the Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma in Horse Management. The course is also ideal preparation for employment in the countryside industry.
Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs (Grade C or above including English) or a Merit in Horse related Level 2 Diploma. Students will be expected to be able to demonstrate some prior knowledge and experience of working with, handling and riding horses.
