Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (QCF)

This qualification is for assessors and quality assurance staff involved in National Vocational Qualifications (QCF). Those who deliver these qualifications will need to be qualified to meet the requirements of the Regulatory arrangements for the Qualifications and Credit Framework. Assessors and quality assurance staff who deliver QCF qualifications that use the term 'NVQ' in their title will also need these qualifications. Depending on the assessment strategies set by individual Sector Skills Councils, some staff, who are assessing and quality assuring qualifications within QCF that do not use the term 'NVQ' in their titles, but whose purpose is to confirm occupational competence, will need to hold IQA or EQA qualifications. The learner must have access to two assessors who each have two candidates going through the same qualification to provide quality and standardisation evidence which is essential for this competency based qualification. The learner also needs to be registered with an awarding body.

Upon successful completion of this qualification you can progress onto the Standards Verifier qualification directly with the awarding body.
