This subject can be selected on its own for part time study for which tuition fees may be payable (please consult Student Services for fee concessions). Case StudiesEmily A Levels: Sociology , Biology , ICT Emily left Gloucestershire College with two A’s and a C in her A Levels and is now studying Sociology in the Welsh capital at Cardiff University. “I really enjoyed studying A-levels because I found that most of the work I did was challenging and interesting. The teachers are really friendly and they treat you as individuals rather than children, I think this mainly comes from calling them by their first name - setting a much easier going atmosphere. I found that there was a lot going on in college, there are many active opportunities on offer. I was involved in the Active Young Citizens group which I really enjoyed and I think is a great asset to the college. I am so excited to have got into Cardiff University which is what I really wanted to do.”
