General information
This is an exciting course offered to students needing a one year Business and ICT course, providing the equivalence of 2 GCE A Levels. The course is particularly suited to those students who have studied before at AS level. The course will cover various Business areas such as Starting a Business, Running a Business, Marketing, Health and Safety in the Workplace and International Business. It also includes ICT areas such as e-commerce, and Communications technology. This is an Intensive, full-time course running from September to July, and will offer little opportunity to take other subjects. It will also be necessary to undertake much self-directed study.

Teaching and assessment
Assessment will be by written coursework.
Entry requirements
Applicants need to have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at A-C Including Maths and English, and be totally committed to apply themselves fully for a year. Applicants will have to pass a College Interview in addition to the initial Guidance Interview.
Ideally as this operates at a fast pace, learners should already hold a level 3 qualification, such as an AS level.
