Developing and Creating Websites
You will use software to develop a website for a target audience of your choice.
Working to a Brief
This unit helps to improve performance and working relationships through the planning, implementation, management and evaluation of an ICT project.
Publishing
Working alongside a client you will identify their needs and research a brief. Previous briefs have covered the production of a newsletter, a ‘What’s On’ guide and a guide to a tourist attraction.
Entry Requirements:
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A* to C with at least one of these in English Language or Maths.
ICT is not required but if you have an ICT qualification then Merit at Level 2 or grade C and above at GCSE is required.

Progression:
You could continue your studies on a relevant degree course or find employment in the IT industry and IT related areas. The skills gained on this course are very attractive to employers.
