Additional NotesWhilst you will be at college only one day per week, this course places a large demand upon your personal time. You should therefore allow for a few hours of self-study each week. Material fees ae levied for calibration, maintenance and replacement of surveying and scientific equipment.
Entry CriteriaYou will need to have completed a Level 3 qualification in a construction discipline or hold 5 GCSE grades A*-C including Maths, English and Science plus relevant A Levels to qualify for entry onto the HNC. Mature Students who can demonstrate extensive work experience or a portfolio of current work may be able to obtain entry to this qualification by interview.
Progression DetailsUpon successful completion of this course, you could apply to university (this qualification carries UCAS points equivalent to A Levels) and top up your HNC to a full degree.
