Assessment methods

This programme exposes you to the key assessment methods and formats used during undergraduate study. These include:

  • Essay: develop research, evaluation, analytical and presentation skills in written format.
  • Report: your ability to locate, summarise and convey information will be developed
  • Presentations: You will learn the best ways to present research to staff and/or students using images, video, flatwork and models.
  • Proposal: allows assessment of research evaluation skills, including context and informed decisions regarding further project development.
  • Technical report: independent investigation and analysis of a specific topical debate.
  • Learner diary: an opportunity to reflect, analyse and improve ideas, designs and concepts.
