What's involved The full-time course is delivered over four years: you will study six modules over two trimesters per year. The course will involve a combination of lectures, tutorials, workshops, directed learning and independent study. Below you will find an indication of the compulsory modules you will most likely study on this course. These will be supplemented with choices from a course-specific option pool: Year 1 Introduction to the Financial Services Sector; Management Accounting; Financial Accounting; Accounting Information Systems; Principles of Economics; plus one option module Year 2 Financial Services Decision Making & Planning 1; Managerial Finance; Planning Personal Finance; Business and Management Challenges; plus two option modules Year 3 Financial Services Decision Making & Planning 2, Marketing Financial Services; either Management Science & Statistics or an option module; plus either a work placement or further option modules Year 4 Central Banking; either Management of Financial Institutions or Regulatory Risk Management; Dissertation; plus two option modules Work Placement An optional 24-week work placement is available in year 3.
