Problem Solving and Decision Making

This programme provides participants with the tools to work through this process in a credible manner and to develop skills in problem identification, evaluation and resolving decision making that brings value to the organisation. The programme will track through the processes, enabling meaningful evaluation and attributes as resolutions are sorted and applied for long-term benefit to the organisation. The programme provides participants with a process to apply in the recognition and evaluation of problems and the key features and attributes of effective decision making for their resolution. Programme Outcomes: At the end of the programme, students will be able to: 1. Understand how different factors might influence problem solving in the workplace. 2. Demonstrate the ability to solve problems 3. Demonstrate the ability to devise and apply viable solutions to problems 4. Recognise the way in which decisions are made 5. Understand and recognise different decision making styles 6. Demonstrate the ability to make appropriate decisions for problem solving in the workplace. 7. Develop an action Plan for improvement in problem-solving and decision making on their return to the workplace.
