This course looks at computer-based applications for managing business operations such as procurement, transport, warehousing, and inventory. It also presents some ideas on how you can convert basic transaction records into powerful analyses for decision-making.

As a Manager, Planner, or Supervisor you will already appreciate the value of information. Often the large ERP transaction processing systems – SAP for example – do have the built in capability to produce a wide range of reports. But if they don’t meet your needs, generating additional reports can be a long process, even if the requirement is simple. IT departments strongly resist the development of ad hoc reports by end users.
