immediate feedback on your teaching. We help you to improve your
teaching by demonstrating successful techniques. You learn how to
plan and structure your lessons and to evaluate them after they
have been taught. You also observe experienced teachers teach in
class. You work in pairs or in small groups to improve your own
knowledge and understanding of the English language.
You are assessed on your six hours teaching practice and complete
four written assignments.
You gain actual teaching practice as well as theoretical knowledge. On successful completion you are awarded a CELTA certificate. Passes are graded A, B or C.
You need a minimum of two A-levels and a good standard of written and spoken English. You need to complete a task before coming for an interview.

WHAT PREVIOUS STUDENTS HAVE SAID
"Doing a CELTA here has been a very positive experience. I found
the course challenging and stimulating, enabling me to extend my
teaching skills and regain lost confidence after a career break to
have a family. The excellent tuition combined with emphasis on peer
support was rewarding and I managed to gain employment straight
after the course ended." Beccy Mullett, CELTA Sept-Dec 2012
