Overview
About This Course:Accountancy is a career in itself, and it can also lead to other job opportunities in industry and commerce, or in public and government service. The NC programme provides a comprehensive introduction to accounting concepts and procedures. It also lays the foundation for further study at HNC/D level.
What You Need:- Three or more Standard Grade passes at Grade 3 or above, or equivalent (Intermediate 1 or 2 at C or above)
- Candidates without these passes who have relevant work experience will be considered
- All entry subject to outcome of discussion at interview

What You Study:The units you’ll study include: Financial and Management Accounting, Computer Applications: Accounting, Preparing Final Accounts, Developing Skills for Employment, Handling Wages & Salaries, Information Technology for Administrators. You will also study optional units.
After The Course:Career
You would be able to apply for accounting work at an administrative or clerical level.
Continuing study
Once you have completed this course you should be able to progress to HNC Accounting course at the College, which in turn leads to an HND, and then a university course.
How Long:One year, starting in August.
Location:City Campus Townhead.
