qualification portfolio to meet the demands of employers. Available
from September 2014, the courses are structured in such a way that
participants can study while working and make progress in a short

will I Study? The Strategic Marketing module covers how to take a
strategic approach in marketing planning to achieve competitive
advantage. It recognises the significance of situation analysis and
introduces techniques for assessing the external and internal
environments that enable effective decision making. The module
outlines the importance of all stages within the marketing planning
process, from the audit, through strategic decision making to
implementation of plans. How will I be Taught? Active lessons and
collaborative working are the cornerstones of the teaching style at
Chichester College. You will be encouraged to maximise self-study
opportunities using digital resources. How will I be Assessed? The
assessment is a three-hour examination into which you take your
pre-prepared marketing plan for an organisation of your choice.
