Description
During this course, our experienced vet nursing lecturers will help you plan and prepare for emergencies. Topics covered include preventing illness, wounds and infection, parasites, bleeding, shock, bone and joint injuries, eye and ear injuries, artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Hands-on activities with our animals include bandaging and giving medication. Participants will discuss which injuries can be safely treated at home and learn how to assemble a pet first aid kit.
