an intense and exciting course 5. Develop skills in all art and
design areas What will I Study? You will work through essential
workshops during the 1st term and the course covers the following
areas: Core visual studies, Painting, Drawing, Critical studies,
Life Drawing, Professional development, Video, Installation,
Graphics, Print, Sculpture, Book-Arts, Textiles, Fashion and
Illustration. This allows risk taking and experimentation, which
supports specialisation. Spring and summer terms are worked on
independently in the studio with tutorials and is presented in a
final show. How will I be Taught? Starting with a series of
workshops that cover the core art and design areas, you will move
on to a self-directed project with support from tutors and mentors.
You will complete the course by working on a final project that
ends in a show for the public, this process supports the growth of
independence. There is a focus on contemporary and experimental art
and design practice. How will I be Assessed? You will continually
get personal feedback about your progress and how to best achieve
the course and your progression aims. Assessments are portfolio
based and all work is considered, except for the final assessment,
