About This Course:

The NC course gives you a strong foundation in contemporary jewellery design and manufacture. It’s an introduction to practical workshop skills and you use a wide range of tools and machinery.

What You Need:
  • Two Standard Grades at Credit Level 1 or 2 in Art & Design and English.
  • Examples of your Art & Design work.

Techniques covered include: Metal Forming, Decorative Finishing, Stone-setting, Design for Jewellers.

After The Course:

Career

Most successful NC students continue to further study, however some may get jobs in retail jewellery, manufacturing jewellery or become self employed.
