What will I Study? The programme is 'practically based' and
involves knowledge of the game, developing personal football skills
and practical coaching. The course will enable you to gain 3
mandatory qualifications: Award in Leadership through Football, FA
L2 Certificate in Coaching and C & G Certificate in Sport as
well as a Functional Skill. There will also be the opportunity to
undertake the FA Youth Module 2 and FA Disability courses. How will
I be Taught? On successfully achieving this recognised
qualification candidates will be able to: * Develop an appreciation
of the ethical coaching process * Plan, conduct and evaluate
football coaching sessions * Coach basic skills and techniques of
football * Promote positive working relationships * Ensure the
health & safety of players and others * Develop responsibility

Assessed? Assessments will generally be practically based, however
