City and Guilds 5780-30 Diploma in Furniture Design and Making Level 3

This level 3 courseaims to develop botth your design and cabinet making skills to the highist level. its based around three pratical projects two of which are design and make projects for which you will be exspected to produce a portfolio of both your design work and of the making proccess. You will be taught largely in the workshops with one or two theory sessions every week. Most of the pratical skills will be learnt by making the projects you have designed and by helping others in your group on thier projects. This enables you to learn a wide range of skills used in furniture making. How will I be Assessed? You will be assessed by units which are based on the pratical work you do, although you will have to produce small portfolios for each unit.
