Level: Level 3
You will be introduced to a wide range of makers and designers and carry out research and analysis of works related to 3D Design. This will be through a series of short projects that allow you to design, structures, concept architecture, products and furniture. You will then develop a portfolio of work that explores materials, design drawing and model making.
At A2 Level you will extend and develop your technical understanding of materials and making processes as well as your capabilities to generate ideas through drawing. You will develop your ideas through a personal study in one specialist area and this will include both written and practical work.

Andover College has a purpose built 3D studio managed by an experienced 3D specialist Senior lecturer and a technician. The department invites visiting makers from industry to engage with students on a regular basis, and students often engage in community based work with local arts groups.
