Study? If you are aged 16-18 you will follow a study programme
consisting of your main qualification, English, Maths, enterprise
and enrichment. The skills developed by the learner include: Client
consultation for hair services Colour and lighten hair Cut men's
hair Shampoo and condition the hair and scalp Cut facial hair
Health & Safety Style men's hair Promote products and services
to clients Reception duties Working in the hair industry Create an
image based on a theme Display a stock to promote sales How will I
be Taught? The delivery of this course will be a combination of
demonstrations, practical sessions, structured theory delivery,
group work, self-directed study, classroom discussions, research
and lectures. External guest speakers are invited in throughout the
year. How will I be Assessed? Practical skills will be assessed
through observation and feedback. Theory knowledge will be assessed
through a combination of written assignments, tests and
