Team Leading, OCR NVQ Level 2

Summary:

This qualification is aimed at individuals who have responsibility for the work of others, as they lead a team. It is suitable for people who are entering management, or who have the ability and the opportunity to demonstrate recognisable management and leadership skills, for example, providing leadership for a team, encouraging innovation, allocating and checking work.

The proposed new units will allow individuals to demonstrate the skills to participate effectively in meetings and to help team members to address problems affecting their performance.

This qualification forms part of a suite of Leadership and Management NVQs at Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5. Individuals who achieve this qualification will have the opportunity to progress to the Levels 3, 4 and 5 NVQs in Management.

Additionally OCR offers a number of qualifications in other sector areas that will allow suitable progression routes to and from the NVQs. Such areas include Administration, Customer Service and Retail NVQs
