It is suitable for those with a general curiosity about ‘how things work’, and for students who would like to study mainly humanities like geography or sociology, but wish to keep up some interest in science. If you want to study more science or carry on with science after GCSEs, then you should take Science and Additional Science.

There is a lot of practical work, so you will need to enjoy doing experiments on your own and in small groups. You need to be ready to write, calculate, think and join in discussions.
