Level 7 Diploma in Business and Corporate Banking

Summary:

The Diploma in Business and Corporate Banking is designed to give candidates a broad and balanced understanding and knowledge of the sector. It is aimed at anyone who is working within this sector who wants to gain a broad understanding; this qualification enhances job related skills by studying a range of subjects which are designed to enable candidates gain the knowledge and skills both for current practice and the rapidly changing environment of the industry.

The qualification consists of three mandatory 20 credit units, Business Banking, Financial Management and Corporate Finance. A total number of 60 credits must be gained to achieve the qualification.

Course Length: Up to one year using a blend of supported home study and college tuition. Entry Requirements:

Level 5 qualifications in a similar discipline and/or relevant industry experience (subject to interview).

Assessment:

Assessment for this programme is by online examination.

Academic Progression:

The qualification provides opportunities for progression within an organisation and provides a professional qualification to enhance the standing of individuals and the organisations in which they work. Candidates may also continue to study in order to achieve the Diploma for Chartered Banker qualification.
