Diploma in the Principles of Travel and Tourism (QCF) - NCFE - Level 2

How Will I Be Assessed?

You will be continually assessed by projects, assignments and case-studies. Tasks will be in the format of role plays, written reports, and presentations.

Entry Requirements

You will need to have either 4 GCSEs at grade D or above, including English and Maths, or a BTEC Level 1 Diploma in a relevant area.

Additional Information

Additional payments for trips will be necessary. The field trips will cost approximately £100 for the academic year. There will also be the option to purchase an informal uniform, this will cost approximately £30.

Progression

Progression: Upon successful completion, you will be encouraged to progress onto the BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Travel and Tourism Level 3, provided you have GCSE grade C in English and Maths or Functional Skills Level 2.

Career Opportunities

This course will prepare you for entry into one of the many varied careers of the industry including Tour Operator, Tour Representative or Travel Agent.
