career advancement particularly in English speaking countries.
There are different stages in learning English as a foreign
language. Bright College English courses are designed specifically
for international students who wish to come to UK or are already
here for studies and better career prospects.
Our main objective is to provide you with top-quality language
courses that will open the doors to your future career. Our courses
are carefully designed by experts in English Language Teaching. We
would like to make your stay in the UK memorable, so apart from the
academic component, our College offers extra-curricular activities
such as trips to places of interest in and outside Leicester,
lectures and workshops that will facilitate your progress and many

Methodology
The course will develop the four skills of language learning:
reading, listening, speaking and writing. In developing reading
skills, you are given practice in reading for more detailed
comprehension. Practice in these skills also applies to listening.
In speaking, you will be encouraged to reproduce language that you
have learnt and to increase your fluency by working in pairs and
groups. Other times you will be working individually or together
with the whole class. For writing, you will be given instruction
and practice in how to compose formal and informal texts,
transactional letters, narrative and descriptive texts. You will
also use computer to learn English as a modern language.
Homework
Homework will generally be set after each day's work. There will be
written homework at least once a week. Other homework will
typically involve grammar, vocabulary or reading exercises and will
be corrected in class.
Evaluation
Students are given formal and informal feedback on their progress
on a regular basis. Written work will be marked to give guidance on
progress. You will also have the opportunity to give your opinion
about the course through informal discussion with course tutors and
written questionnaires.
Materials
Classes will use a mixture of materials prepared by the lecturers
as well as textbooks.
