Art and Design BTEC Diploma Level 2

You will study many areas of Art and Design including: Fine Art, Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics, Metalwork, Print, Plaster, Photography, 3D Design, Graphic Design and 4D Time-Based Media. You will learn about how other artists made their work, how to research in order to generate ideas and how to analyse artwork.This is a practical course where you will learn and be assessed by completing practical assignments. These assignments will develop your practical skills from a variety of Art & Design areas. They will give you the opportunity to sample a wide variety of materials, techniques and processes in order to help you create ideas, and decide which area of Art & Design you might wish to pursue. You will develop an understanding of Art language and get a broad foundation in Art & Design skills in both two and three dimensions.
