Who is the course for?

This training and assessment course is aimed at Gas Engineers who wish to carry out Electrical Work on Gas Appliances.

It enables individuals who need to carry out electrical work to comply with the requirements of the Electricity at Work Act 1989. It covers the correct procedures for safe isolation of equipment, the use of test equipment and the testing of any work that is carried out.

  • Installation of electricity supplies to gas boilers and other appliances via a fused spur or plug and socket.
How will the course be delivered?

The course will be delivered through both practical and theory assessments based at our specialist Gas Services Workshops.

Course Entry Criteria

This course is specifically for Gas Engineers with a previous qualification in this area.

What will I get at the end of the course?

Acredited CITB Essential Electrics certification.
