Day 1
Allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required to test portable electrical appliances with the Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. With a practical Assessment on completion of day , 1 as required by City & Guilds
Day 2
Allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required to identify and deal with all areas of inspection and testing and recording formal visual and combined inspection and testing with the Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. With an online multi-choice exam of 1 hour 45 minutes, as required by City & Guilds.

Training method:

Course outcome/qualification:
City & Guilds Certificate of Competence for the Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
Pre-requisite knowledge:
- Familiarity with the 'Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment' – pre-course reading is recommended.
- Attendance on Practical Portable Appliance Testing course or the ability to prove knowledge of how to use portable appliance test instruments or hold C&G 2360 Part 2 / 2330 Level 3
