The Level 4 Diploma is a full-time 1-year course to introduce students to the potential of visual merchandising and promotion to retail business. It will explore new directions in retail development and create opportunities for new concepts in customer service to be explored.
Course content
You will develop new skills to enable you to create leading-edge customer focussed retail experiences. This may include event management, customer surveys and collaborative working with technology-based students to create interactive experiences. You will gain a sound understanding of the retail sector and create new ideas that will forge the future of the national and global retail evolution.

Entry Requirements
Students will typically have a Level 3 qualification in an art and design related subject (e.g. A Levels or National Diploma.) Mature students with relevant life experiences and a portfolio will be considered without formal qualifications. Level 2 maths and English is required.
Delivery & Assessment methods
Assessment will be carried out throughout the course on practical project work
Progression
Progression from this course onto HNC/ HND or a Degree in Visual Merchandising and Retail Management is possible.
