The HNC Sports Therapy qualification is a part-time course that runs over 3 semesters. The course will involve online lectures, practical workshops,
seminars, 1-2-1 tutorials, group lectures to aid students through the interesting and varied units
Course content
The course will consist of a range or modules covering a number of topics:
- Anatomy and Physiology for Sport and Exercise
- Sport and Exercise Psychology
- Injury Prevention and Treatment in Sport and Exercise
- Sport and Exercise Rehabilitation
- Sport and Exercise Massage
- The Sport and Leisure Industry
- Applied Sports Coaching
- The Evolution of Sports Development
- NB: These units are subject to change at the college's discretion

Entry Requirements
80 UCAS points from 2 A levels plus minimum of 4 GCSEs grades A to C. BTEC Level 3 Sport or equivalent qualification. Relevant and appropriate work experience.
Delivery & Assessment methods
These will be varied. The course will involve some elements of distance learning, online support and learning, use of VLE, 1-2-1 support sessions, group lectures and seminars
Progression
Progress to the HND in Sport (Therapy) or into employment in the industry.
