Entry Requirements
Applicants must be employed, recommended and supported by their employer. Ideally English and Mathematics to a sufficient level - equivalent to GCSE D or Level 1 - to enable successful completion of the Apprenticeship. Interview and Basic Skills initial assessment Willing to work flexibly, including shift working depending on age and experience. Applicants to this apprenticeship may already be working in the Engineering or Manufacturing Sectors, or appropriate job role
Delivery & Assessment methods
Combination of “off the job” in college, and “on and off” the job training in company 1 year programme 1 day per week (initial block of 2 weeks then day release) in college plus
Progression
Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 Supervisor Management Level 2 BTEC Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical
