This is a course for those wishing to gain programming skills for milling and turning CNC machines using both manual and CAD/CAM methods.

The course covers basic manual programming and machine set up for milling and turning machines using HAAS machine tools. This progresses to creating a program on Delcam Powermill CAD/CAM software.

How long is the course?

One evening a week for 35 weeks.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through both practical assessment and multiple-choice examination.

What will I study?

You will cover manual programming and set up on CNC milling and turning machines with programming using CAD/CAM software.

Entry requirements

None - although an understanding of basic machining would be preferred but is not essential.
