Entry Requirements

The CIH Level 3 Award in Resident Scrutiny (QCF) is designed to provide learners with an understanding of, and the skills to take part in, resident scrutiny of the social housing service. It is particularly useful for service users (tenants and residents) of housing associations, ALMOs and councils who may be involved, or who wish to become involved, in the scrutiny of the housing management process. Applicants should normally be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, and have attested (or attestable) abilities – GCSE grade C or above (or its equivalent ) – in English.

Delivery & Assessment methods

Assessment is continuous, and comprises of internally marked and externally moderated assignments.

Progression

Opportunities exist within the expanding sector of resident scrutiny. Academic progression is usually to the CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice (QCF)
