A Course for This course is designed to meet the needs of: People not currently working in housing but considering a front-line housing maintenance position as a career option. Tenants and residents wishing to explore housing maintenance issues. People who are new to housing maintenance or workers in a front-line housing position wanting to improve their general awareness of housing maintenance issues. People working in housing who wish to attain an initial qualification in housing maintenance. Entry Requirements There are no formal requirements. Assessment Each module will be assessed with a variation of formal written assignments, practice based reports, learner centred case study exercises and individual or group oral presentations. Learning Outcome The CIOB/CIH Level 2 Certificate in Housing Maintenance provides opportunities for learners to develop an understanding of wider issues and generate evidence for their key skills portfolios. Progression after Programme Students may progress on to the CIOB/CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Maintenance.
