Description
This qualification has been developed to meet the needs of the meat and poultry industry to ensure the safe usage of knives. The course will support existing knife users to improve their performance and ensure procedures are being followed
Course content
The training programme will cover the syllabus and involves tutor contact time of at least 6 hours. This time is a minimum, and it may be necessary to extend the hours of tuition according to the needs of the trainees. Upon completion the candidate will have a great understanding of Keeping Clean and Hygienic Keeping the Products Safe Keeping Work Area Clean and Hygienic. Using tools efficiently and safely

Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications are required, but a basic level of English is recommended for the Level 2 course. .
