NCFE CREATIVE TEXTILES – FIBRECRAFT I, II, III
Explore and develop your latent creative potential!
Bicton College offers nationally accredited Courses in Fibrecraft,
I, II and III. Techniques covered include:
• Fibre to fabric
• Fibre identification
• Felt making, including nuno
• 3D, (vessels, bags, hats)
• Embellishing, mosaic / inlay
• Dyeing, synthetic and organic
• Eco printing
• Screen printing
• Heat transfer printing (synthetic)
• Cyanotype,
• Happa zome,
• Encaustic panting and
• Digital imaging
• Devore
• Research local and international artists using colleges IT and
LRC facilities
• Artist studio visits,
• Breeder and producer educational trips
