Entry Requirements

It is essential that your Initial Assessment results show that you are working at Level 2. You will also need to have achieved 4 GCSEs at grades A-C, including English, Maths and Science or equivalent.

  • Understanding physical and biological environmental processes

Functional Skills

You will also gain nationally recognised functional skills qualifications (English, Maths and ICT).

What Next?

Students who wish to continue in education may progress to a Level 4 qualification such as a Foundation degree (please refer to our University Level online course guide). Alternatively, students may seek employment in a wide range of industries, for example as specialists in environmental protection, water pollution control and waste management.

The course also equips students for careers in the wider energy, water, waste and environmental protection sector.
